About Arts for All's Programs for Students
Programs for Students launched in February 2004. This directory centralizes access to quality, approved, K-12 arts education programs that meet the Content Standards for California Public Schools, which include the Visual and Performing Arts Standards, for teachers and school administrators throughout the County's 81 school districts.
The directory enables educators to strategically search for arts education programs by arts discipline, subject area, grade level, program type, and cultural origin.
For artists and organizations, this directory offers a free marketing opportunity to reach the 94,000 teachers and administrators in Los Angeles County.
How to have your programs listed:
In order to be listed in this directory, arts organizations and artists must complete an electronic application form, submit by mail all required supplemental materials and be approved by a peer panel comprised of arts organizations, artists, educators and parents.
Consider reviewing the Guidelines now to prepare for the next application round. Submission requirements take time to prepare as they include signed letters of recommendations from schools and video and photographic documentation.
The winter 2012 application period has been rescheduled and will now take place in later 2013. If you are interested in applying, please share your contact information
and we will alert you directly of the application announcement.
Want to update the programs that you already have listed?
Updates can be made by submitting a Word document with full copy for the categories for which changes are required. Please note to which of your programs the changes should be applied and organize the new copy with the headings as they appear on the website. Email the updates to
artsforall@arts.lacounty.gov
Information will be reviewed and updated within two weeks of your submission and you will receive a confirmation email once complete.
New programs or major program design changes must be submitted for review by peer panel during the open application period.
