The Amgen Center for Science Learning is the education arm of the California Science Center, located in Exposition Park in Downtown Los Angeles. The Amgen Center for Science Learning is dedicated to promoting lifelong science learning for all and is responsible for all of the educational programming at the Science Center.
Science on Tour blends science learning with entertaining performance, using original sets, props, special effects, and scripts created by the California Science Center. We have both an upper and lower grade version of our programs, and Science Theater on Tour’s shows also support California State language arts, art, and theater content standards. |

Two SuperKids, Mega Boy and Whew Girl, teach students how to make healthy choices, and together with the audience's help save the universe from the lazy effects of the BLAHs. Set in a classic science fiction world, the SuperKids battle four BLAHs, brought to life right before the audience's eyes as larger-than-life puppet characters. With a colorful set, exciting music and effects, this show is a fanciful and engaging way to satisfy California State science and health content needs in addition to meeting theater and performance goals.
