A Noise Within's core program, Classics Live!, serves students ages 12-21 in Southern California. Developed to give students exposure to classic dramatic literature while addressing California's content standards, Classics Live! has 3 key components: 1)Enhancing classroom studies through study guides and professional development opportunities for educators. 2)Engaging through live performance-A Noise Within provides students the opportunity to experience the classic dramatic literature in the environment it was intended to be viewed-the theatre. 3)Empowering through an understanding of the classics. Post-show discussions and classroom workshops advance students' understanding of the text through thoughtful discussions and group activities.
